The final Current Image was acquired Wednesday, 16 April 2008, 11:12 CST. (27673 bytes)This Current Image is generated from data collected by the University of Iowa's Visible Imaging Investigations (VII) Visible Imaging System (VIS) on board the NASA Polar spacecraft. It was designed and built by the Particles and Imaging research group from The University of Iowa. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Kent L. Ackerson, the Project Scientist is Dr. John B. Sigwarth, and the Project Manager is Mr. Gregory L. Pickett.
All of the Current Images that were collected PREVIOUS TO TODAY are also available on-line (for as long as our storage capacity allows). They are sorted by the operational year and week on which they were collected and produced.
